For International Hot & Spicy Day I decided to celebrate/torture myself with David Chang’s spiciest chicken at Fuku: “The Rippin’ Hot Chicken!” Covered in Carolina reapers, scorpion peppers and Szechuan peppercorns, this may be the spiciest thing I have ever eaten!!!
One of the highlights from my trip to Maui was dining at Chef Sheldon Simeon’s Lineage. Each dish celebrated his family’s roots, told a story from his past, tasted incredible, & welcomed me into a beautiful shared dining experience!
What I ate in this episode: Mai’a Tai Cockatil Dim Sum Cart Goodies featuring Local Banchan, Cone Sushi, & Pipikaula Poi Mochi Oyster Maui Flying Saucer Smoke Meat Squid Lu’au Filipino Cereal
As always thank you to Connor Pledger for Original Jessie Eats Music!
I made sure to try Chef Sheldon Simeon’s Tin Roof while on the island of Maui. I loved this neighborhood spot preparing local classics! Each dish had a combination of flavors from so many different cultures, showcasing the heart and taste of the community!
(Stay tuned for an episode featuring his other restaurant Lineage coming soon!)
I drank my breakfast at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! I had so much fun checking out the new Disney dining options, especially the drinks at Olgas Cantina! “The Outer Rim” & “Fuzzy TaunTaun” were definitely out of this world drinks!
