There are many signature snacks at Disneyland, but one of my favorites has to be the refreshing Dole Whip! Purchased outside the Enchanted Tiki Room, you can order it as a frozen treat or as a Dole Whip float. But have you ever thought about making it at home? And, what about adding a little bit of booze to make it the perfect treat?
Let’s tackle the at-home recipe first. Surprisingly, the famous Dole Whip can be made with just three simple ingredients!
Dole Whip Recipe:
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 4 oz pineapple juice
- 1 big scoop of vanilla ice cream
Dole Whip Instructions
Blend all of the ingredients until smooth or the consistency you like. Because we wanted that nostalgic visual, we used a piping bag to get that signature Dole Whip swirl!
In the mood for a Dole Whip Float? Simply add pineapple juice!
Now, for the fun part. To get that fun and boozy float you’ve been craving, it’s time to mix a quick cocktail.
Boozy Dole Whip Float Recipe:
- 2 oz rum
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1/2 lime
- Dole Whip mixture from above
Boozy Dole Whip Float Instructions.
In your shaker, add rum, pineapple juice, and lime juice. Shake everything together vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. Then, strain it over the Dole Whip mixture from above!
